HOW TO REGISTER FOR A COURSE
ASE offers three categories of courses for Aspiring Entrepreneurs, Established Business Owners, and Specialty courses.ASE is a “self-directed” learning program wherein you select courses from all categories and any order you choose.
Note to AOL Users: You are required to minimize AOL and login through
another accepted browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox.
FIRST TIME REGISTRATION
Step 1: Within the Course Description block, click the registration option you prefer, either the "Live" audiocast shown with a scheduled date and time or the On-Demand Recorded Version of the course that is immediately available after completion of registration. Multiple selections can be checked within each category of courses;
Step 2: Scroll to bottom of page, click Purchase Selected Courses;
Step 3: Your Registered Selections screen will appear showing details of the course you selected. If you are satisfied with the selections, click Check Out to proceed.
NOTE: You may select courses from one of the other categories from the Your Registration Selection screen by returning to Courses on the navigational bar, select the other category from the drop- down list, and make your selections by repeating Steps 1 and 2.
Step 4: Your Registration Selection screen will appear showing your course selections with added fields for completion with your personal profile and payment information.
NOTE: You will be required to provide an email address and password. The email address you provide becomes your permanent User ID along with your password. Retain that data for future login to archival versions of your courses and other returning student privileges.
The American School of Entrepreneurship does not store credit or debit card information. Payment information is securely stored with Authorize.net. Only the last 4 digits of any credit or debit payment card are shown to ASE for confirmation of payment refunds, if requested.
Step 5: Upon completion of your personal profile, agreement with the Terms and Conditions, and payment information, click Process Payment.
Your registration is completed when you receive an acknowledgement of your order number for the course.
RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
Returning students are those persons who had previously registered for an ASE course. Subsequent course registrations can be accomplished without login. After clicking the Check Out button you will receive Your Registration Selections screen, on which you are prompted to enter your User ID and password. Your personal profile information will be filled in the required fields, except for the payment information.
Returning students may also login when arriving at the Home Page, and proceed to review courses or other screens of the website. Clicking the Check Out button on Your Registration Selections screen, your personal profile will appear, requiring only payment information to complete a registration.
First time and returning registrants will received three emails: Welcome from ASE, a Receipt of Payment, and an iLinc Class Invitation.
Welcome from ASE
This email provides a direct link to the ASE website. The first time your click that link, you are taken directly to My Current Courses screen at the ASE website. You will see listed the courses you registered along with the link to the audiocast for the date and time scheduled.
Use of that link the second time returns you to the ASE website (you may also return to the ASE website: www.theisoe.com). You are required to login for access to My Start Page which lists the courses you have registered with the link to the audiocast on the iLinc site. You are recognized by the AE system as a returning student.
Receipt of Payment
Details of your purchase transaction and receipt of payment is issued by the payment gateway, Authorize.net.
iLinc Class Invitation
This invitation will show your class details, the link to the class on the iLinc site, and a link for advance preparation of your computer system. It is recommended you test and prepare your system prior to the class date and time.
REGISTRATION WITH A COMPLIMENTARY OR GIFT COUPON
Procedures for registration with a coupon are emailed to you when the coupon is issued from the ASE Administration site.
